SPARRING BETWEEN PENANG AND TERENGGANU BOXING TEAM

DATE : 25th July 2009
VENUE : Pusat Latihan Tinju Majlis Sukan Negeri Pulau Pinang di Batu Uban, Gelugor.
TIME : 5.30 pm-7.30 pm
ORGANIZER: UPSTN PENANG/COACHES

Collaboration like this should be encourage and all state should expose their SUKMA team by organizing more friendly match between each other. They should not looking into overseas exposure only because it will cost them a fortune to go there but rather they should focus to forge relationship with other neighbouring state who has athletes at as good as their. We are happy to see Terengganu and Penang are doing such program to expose their young exponent to more competition. This will give their young athletes opportunity to gauge their skill and technique.

Thanks to Penang Coach Pak Johny Kasiran and En. Zainuddin Zakaria from PLN Titi Mukim, Seberang Perai Utara, Pulau Pinang the sparring between two team are a success full event.

Only two age categories involved in this sparring.

Boxer Pulau Pinang dan Terengganu 14 - 16 year old
1. Muhammad Noor Hisham (PLN Titi Mukim) Vs Muhamad Setia
2. Mohammad Azrul Hadi (PLN Titi Mukim) Vs Mohammad Jalaluddin
3. Muhammad Firdaus Hashim(PLN Titi Mukim) Vs Nur Aidi Nazrin
4. Muhammad Syafiq Muhd Yusof (PL MSNPP) Vs Ahmad Sufian

Boxer Pulau Pinang dan Terengganu 17 - 20 year old
1. Hafizal (PLN Titi Mukim) Vs Mohd Faizal
2. Rafa'el Mika'el (PL MSNPP) Vs Mohd Farid
3. Rafa'el Mika'el (PL MSNPP) Vs Wan Hazlan
4. Kubendran (PL MSNPP) Vs Wan Hazlan

After the match all athletes and coaches are attending dinner host by MSNPP Director Hj. Mohamed Akbar Bin Mustapha at Restaurant Tanjung Bungah, Pulau Pinang.
