The National Junior Badminton Circuit (2nd Circuit) took off today in 2 separate Zone namely Zone A and Zone B. The 2nd Circuit saw Perlis as host for Zone A and Melaka play host to team participating in Zone B. Zone A comprises team from Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Kuala Lumpur and Kelantan whereas Selangor, N. Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Pahang and Terengganu are teams in Zone B. A total of 258 athletes participated in Zone A and 289 athletes took part in Zone B. The breakdown of athletes by age group are as follows:
