Project 2013: European Tour update

Update 6th Games.

Project 2013 vs Spain U 21

6.00pm

CD Teressa Hockey Club

Result: Project 2013 2 - 3 Spain U 21

1st half: Spain started agresively as we expected. On the 17th min the Spanish scored the 1st goal thru riverse hit attempt beat Mohd Hafizzudin the Goalkeeper for todays game. However the Project's from scored the equaliser on the 1st PC of the game thru set piece scored by Firhan Ashaari on the 22nd min. However the Spanish manage to gain the lead again thru a PC on the 27th min. Harmeet Singh manage to drew level on the 34th min (FG) from a fast counter attack by Joel Van Huizen.

2nd half Both team had their chances to score but the forwards just cant find the net. However the Spanish manage to get a PC in the 50th min but good goal keeping by Mohd Hafizzudin keep the score unchange.

In the 58th min from a well plan attack by the Spanish they manage to score the winner thru a FG attemp. The Project's tried to get the equaliser for the 3rd time failed.

Overall the performance of the Projects is better compare to the 1st game where we drew 2 - 2. But the Spanish with their experience manage to take up their chances well to win the game. Mohd Hafizzudin (GK) had a better game in the 2nd half compare to the 1st half in denying the Spanish.

We had 2 PC's and scored 1 and the same goes to the Spanish.

The defense marshalled by the Captain Mohd Nor Faez played extremely well and in midfield Joel Van Huizen is quite consistent with his performance. The forward accept Firhan Ashaari need to be more effective in finding the nets and creating more PC's. So far in Spain the PC convertion rate is good from the 4 pc's we manage to score 3 goals thru 2 by Mohd Sabri direct flick and 1 thru Firhan Ashaari from set pieces.

Trow will be playing against the Scottish U 21 at 9pm local time before we wrap up and leaving to Poland on Sunday.

Till then. Adios!!!!
