This is follow up program after the first phase of TID done in various school around Johor Bharu. All parents were invited during this activity to ensure they understand the daily training program that all diver go through everyday.

Program pada 17hb iaitu pada sesi malam taklimat atlet bersama Pegawai Pelapis MSN dan Jurulatih dibatalkan kerana banyak atlet dan jurulatih belum sampai di ASZS sehingga jam 11 mlm. Manakala pada 18hb sesi pagi di tangguh ke tghari kerana kesemua atlet yang sampai lewat pada 17hb nampak sangat letih. Kesemua atlet nampak bersemangat pada sesi latihan petang kerana dapat mempelajari teknik serta tunjuk ajar dari jurulatih yang perpengalaman. Kesemua peserta nampak selesa dengan latihan yang diberikan. Dan pada waktu malam sesi teori dan ulangkaji nampak menarik dan tidak membosankan. Sesi tersebut dijalankan sehingga tak sedar dh lewat malam.TAMAT BERITA RINGKAS PADA HARI 1 dan 2. Akan bersambung......... iaitu hari ke 3 -

Our Pelapis Kebangsaan Team (Project 2013) is in Melaka to participate. With Dharma in charge and manage by the Great Minarwan, the team are predicted to do well in this tournament.

THROW/POLE VAULT CLINIC FOR NORTHERN ZONE

DATE: 18-21 July 2009
VENUE: Stadium Kangar, Perlis
ORGANIZER: Cawangan Pelapis/USPTN Perlis
PARTICIPANT: 20 coaches from Penang, Kedah and Perlis

If we look around this country most of athletic training center will focus on the blue ribbon event such as 100 and 200 meter only. Not many coaches will devoted their time to venture into technical event such as pole vault and for throw the number of coaches and athlete in this event also dwelling. If NSC didn't start pole vault program in 1993 with the opening of SAAS as Bakat Khas center we will not get our current champion Roslinada Samsu.

We asked our head coach Manshahar to discuss with other and plan few series of clinic focusing in this two technical event to promote them back to the state coaches. We hope with this clinic pole vault and throw events will gain it support from the grassroots and will produce more future champions.

WEIGHT LIFTING DAILY RITUAL

Our SDO for weight lifting is pro active sending us many information on his sports in Terengganu. At least we know that he monitoring the training center and hope all the SDO will do the sama.

Anyway judging from the photo sent to us we know that Terengganu weight lifting athlete will become serious contender in the next SUKMA.

Kejohanan Seni Silat Pelapis/PSSNT/MSSMT

PARTICIPANT: only school around Kuala Terengganu involed in this competition

Our Terengganu USPTN is busy this month organizing many activities. This is what we want when we make decision to set up new unit in all state to manage and run Pelapis Program. we hope our USPTN will stimulate the development of sport in their particular state.

The purpose of the competition is to do a selection for Pelapis Carnival in Melaka which will be held from 13-16 of august.

PENANG SQUASH TRAINING CENTER

Our SDO in Penang, Cik Fatimah drop by to the Tin Club training center on the 13th of July to meet the coach and players. Good job. We need more people like her to make sure all training center are running and well organized. With this visit all coaches and athletes can discuss their problem and grouses with their SDO on the spot without any delay. We will encourage all SDO to do the same in their state.
