Update 9th Games.

2nd Test - Project 2013 vs Poland U 21

Result: Project 2013 2 - 3 Poland U 21

Sroda is located about 30km from Poznan by bus.

1st half:

Both teams started the game with cautious. In 6th min slick move between Amir Farid, Syamim Yusof and Firhan Ashaari the Project's scored the 1st goal through Firhan Ashaari. In 11th min the Polish drew level through FG. They have the opportunity to take the lead in 17th min through PC but the project's defence stood firm. In the 21st min the Project's earned the only PC in the game but Mohd Sabri failed to convert from the direct attempt. again the Polish earned their PC in 25th min again they failed to score. The score stood at 1 - 1 in the 1st half.

2nd half:

The Project's start with the attacking mode by creating goal scoring chances from Amir Farid, Firhan Ashaari and Syamim Yusof but fail to find the net.In the 42nd min started from a shot at goal, saved by Mohd Haffizudin but the Polish is fast to get the rebound to score their 2nd goal. The Polish earned their 3rd PC in the in 55th min but failed to convert. Syamim Yusof scored level in the 61st min with a well taken goal.In 67th min from a goal melee the Project's earned a penalty stroke but Firhan Ashaari flick saved by the post even the goalkeeper went to opposite direction. Syamim Yusof again beat a defender but the Polish keeper manage to saved his attempt. In dying second the Polish manage to broke through the Project's defense and earned a Penalty Stroke and coolly converted it.

We didn't achieved our personal target to win this match but overall based on the Polish experience and age factor with 12 players that played in the last Junior World Cup the players did well. Creating a few chances and again the scoring skill let them down. The final passes especially between the forwards in the D need to be improve. We only manage to earned 1 pc opposed to Poland 3.

Communication and understanding between the defence need to be better. The rotation of players too is one of the factor that resulted to loosing the matches. But one of the objective of this tour is to expose players and to be given equal playing time and that what the Coaches did.

After the games the Mayor of Sroda hosted us a dinner and according to him that we are the 2nd National Team that have played in Sroda beside the Indian National Team in 1944.

Trow we will be playing the 3rd Test with the Polish U 21 at 6pm at Poznan Hockey Stadium and we need to win to draw the test. We will leave to Amsterdam after the game.

Update 8th Games.

Project 2013 vs Poland U 21

Result: Project 2013 4 - 4 Poland U 21

Sroda is located about 30km from Poznan by bus.

1st half: In the 4th min, a move started from the Skipper Mohd Nor Faez everhead ball find Amir Farid who beat the Polish keeper and cooly pass to Firhan Ashaari to score the 1st goal. The Polish equalise in the 20th min via their 1st PC. However the Project's taken the lead again in the 21st min via 1st PC by Mohd Sabri. The Polish again scored the equaliser in the 24th min thru a FG.The Project's have the oppurtunity to take the lead again when they won their 3rd PC thru Syamim Yusof but Mohd Nor Faez fail to convert from direct attempt.

1st half PC - Project 3 PC's opposed to Polish 2 PC's

2nd half: The Project's started with the attacking mode and won their 4th PC's thru Syamim Yusof and Moh Sabri again scored the 3rd goal 2nd his personal with a top net direct attemp. However the Project's again let the Polish comeback to the game when they scored the equaliser in the 43rd min thru PC.The Project's won 3 PC's in 50th and 52nd but failed to score. The Polish too won a PC in 47th min but good goal keeping by Shahrul Azaddin denied the Polish. In the 57th min the projects gain the lead for the 4th time thru PC set pieces finished by Hizzat Hakimi Jamaluddin. The projects have the oppurtunity to add the score however attemp by Firhan Ashaari hit the post eventhough the Polish Keeper was beaten. In the 62nd min the Polish manage equal the score for the 4th time when they score thru a PC goal melee.

2nd half PC - The Project 4 opposed to Poland 3.

In considering the age factor and experience of the Polish, overall the team played well especially the forward Amir Farid, Firhan Ashaari and Syamim Yusof creating a lot of chances and creating PC's for the team. However they need to sharpen up their goal scoring skills in which only Firhan Ashaari so far has been scoring in most of the games. Positioning in receiving passes from the ball carrier in the D must be improve

The midfield exccept for Fitri Shaari and Joel Van Huizen need to buck up. Need to be more compose and be more stronger with the ball especially when facing the much more physical Polish. Need to cut down unforce error.

In defence need to be more tighter and taking their man fast. Need to stop giving some easy PC's to the opponent. The Polish scored their 3 goals thru PC.

Lastly need to learn how to keep the lead and do not allow the opponent to get back into the game not once, twice, third but fourth time.

The pitch too actually is one of the reason coz it's new and quite bouncy and slippery. Resulted the players late in settling down.

So far no serious injury to the boys.

Our team personal target is to win the 3 test series against the Polish eventhough we know that the Polish are U 21 and more experience. They are in the midst of prepairing for the U 21 European Championship in Poland starting 24th July and are in a good condition. We have set a high benchmark but it is possible to achieve. We have told the players that we need to win trow match if we would want to win the series. We want to see how they handle the pressure to win games.

We were host by the Polish Hockey Federation for a dinner after the game just now and again there will be an official dinner trow host by the Mayor of Sroda after the game. So far the Poland Hockey Federation has been nice to us. And we should take note of that for future reference.

Trow the 2nd test is at 6pm at the same venue.

Project 2013: European Tour update

Update 7th Games.

Project 2013 vs Scotland U 21

Result: Project 2013 3 - 2 Scotland U 21

1st half: The Project start the game with an attacking mode from the start. Won the 1st PC in 10th min but fail to score from direct attempt by Mohd Sabri. In the 15th min thru Syamim Yusof we won 2nd PC however miss push by the pusher fail for the project to gain the lead. The Scotish in the 20th min won their 1st PC, however their attemp went wide. In the 20th min Firhan Ashaari from the left flank beat 3 Scotish defender before push the ball into the Scotish net for Project's 1st goal. Through Amir Farid solo run he manage to get 3rd PC and Captain Mohd Nor Faez gave Project 2 goal lead before the breather.

2nd half the more experience Scotish started agresively and more organise. In the 39th min they reduce the deficit through a FG. They won 2 more PC in the 43rd and 53rd min and scored the equaliser from a delighted PC set pieces. The Project's woke up from the slumber and manage to create a few chances and manage to get a Penalty Stroke in the 60th min and Firhan Ashaari cooly convert. The Scotish have a change to get the equaliser through PC in the 68th min but good goalkeeping by the GK Mohd Haffizudin manage to deny their attempt.

Overall in the 1st half the team played well with more ball possession and create a few FG chances especially through both flank. Better comunication between the players was good.

However in the 2nd half with the presure from the more older and experience Scotish the players making unforce error by running with the ball and loosing the ball easily. Thus resulted to the 3 PC and 2 goals scored by the Scotish.

The positive note is the players keep on playing and manage to score the winner and manage to keep the score till the end.

The personal team target for the matches in Spain is to win at least 1 game considering the age and experience factor of the opponents. And The boys not only won 1 game but drew 1 against the much experience Spanish Team.

Tomorrow will be a free day for the players and will be in town for sightseeing and will be leaving to Poland on Sunday.

Project 2013: European Tour update

Update 5th Games.

Project 2013 vs Spain U 21 5.30pm

Result: Project 2013 2 - 2 Spain U 21


1st half: Both team evenly contest in every department however the Spanish manage to win 1 PC but fail to score. The Spanish have with them 6 Junior World Cuppers but this do not determine the Project boys.

2nd half from the only PC on 39th min Mohd Sabri again scored Project scored the 1st goal. The Spanish manage to drew level on the 50th min through field goal. Again the Project have the lead when Firhan Ashaari scored with reverse hit attemp on the 64th min. After that the Spanish going all out to get the equaliser and won 2 PC on the 68th and 69th min but the well organise PC defense manage to comtemp their attempt.

The Spanish however manage to get the equaliser in the 75th min base on our time keeping thru field goal.Overall the palyers played hard and manage to compete with the Spanish in every department. Shahrul Azaddin (GK) played extremely well to denied as many attempt by the Spainish forward and PC.

Again the convertion rate of the PC is 100% however the forward need to work in engineered PC. The players too need to work and learn how to keep the ball possession to keep the lead. The PC defend is well organise to deny the 4 PC won by Spain.

Trow we will play again with the Spanish U 21 at 6pm. Till then. Adios!!!

Project 2013: European Tour

Hi All,

Update 3rd Game:
Project vs Suisse Selection
11.00am Richmont Hockey Stadium

Result: Project 2013 4 - 0 Suisse Selection Hockey Team

1st half we were leading 3 - 0 thru Joel Van Huizen 3rd min (FG), Mohd Sabri 1 (PC) 5th min, Rashid 1 (FG) and Amir Farid 1 (FG) 28th min. We erned 3 PC'c opposed to Suisse Selection 1 PC.

2nd half the Project's scored 1 goal thru Firhan Ashaari (FG) 50th min and we earned 6 PC's opposed to 1 PC for the Suisse.

Overall the team played well however the team fails to score more goals thru PC'c and few chances in the D. PC's based on the 3 games in Geneva need to work on it as we had 22 pc's and only scored 4 goals. Thats not optimal convertion rate.

The team had 3 good warm up matches and base on their performance they would be ready to face the better up coming teams in Barcelona. Trow will be leaving to Barcelona.

Update 1st Game:

Project vs Geneva Selection

Project 2013 3 - 2 Geneva Selection

Geneva leading 2 - 0 in the 1st half thru 1 (FG) 32nd min and 1 (PC) 34th min. The Projects scored 3 goals in the 2nd half thru 2 goals from Amir Farid in 45th (FG) and 70th min (FG) and Firhan Ashaari 61st (FG).

Project earn 5 PC against 1 PC for Geneva. Overall not so convincing in the 1st half coz of lethagic and getting use of europe environment. However in the 2nd half the boys pick up their games and manage to score the 3 goals. We had at least 6 clear chances to score but lack of sharpness and goal scoring ability let us down.

But great figting spiring and character is the tonic of winning the 1st game. Trow we will play against Lyon Football Club Hockey Team at 2pm. Just that for now. Cheers!!!

Perlawanan dimainkan 3 half iaitu 20min setiap half.

Secara keseluruhannya pasukan Pakistan lebih mengawal perlawanan dan lebih banyak menyerang berbanding dgn pasukan project. Walaubagaimanapun prestasi pemain2 lebih baik berbanding semasa menentang korea. Dan berjaya beberapa kali menembusi benteng Pakistan tetapi ketumpulan barisan serangan gagal menjaringkan gol. Pakistan memperolehi 4 pukulan sudut pendek dan berjaya menjaringkan 1 gol manakala project 2013 mendapat hanya 1. Pihak Pengurusan telah menjangkakan bukan mudah untuk bersaing dgn Pakistan kerana pengalaman mereka dari segi teknik dan tektikal.

Keseluruhannya kita telah bermain sebanyak 3 perlawanan. Kalah ketiga2 perlawanan kpd India 1 - 3, Korea 0 - 5 dan Pakistan 0 - 3. Kesemua lawan adalah pasukan senior. Jurulatih dan Pengurusan Pasukan amat berpuashati dengan prestasi keseluruhan pemain dan berpendapat ini adalah pendedahan terbaik bagi pasukan project yg rata-ratanya berumur 18 dan 19 tahun.

Selepas ini pemain2 akan menyertai pasukan kelab masing2 dlm liga remaja malaysia dan seterusnya menyertai sukma. Latihan akan diteruskan selepas itu untuk jelajah eropah yang masih lagi dalam perancangan.

Harapan kita mereka akan belajar dari perlawanan2 ini..dan menjadi pemain dan lebih baik di masa akan datang.

Semua pemain bermain kecuali Joel Van Huizen yg pulang memulakan hari pertama hari di pusat pengajian tinggi dan Fathi Kamil yang cedera. Perlawanan dimainkan 3 half iaitu 20min setiap half. Secara keseluruhannya pasukan Korea lebih mengawal perlawanan dan lebih banyak menyerang berbanding dgn pasukan project.Korea memperolehi 7 pukulan sudut pendek dan berjaya menjaringkan 2 gol manakala project 2013 mendapat hanya 1.Pihak Pengurusan telah menjangkakan bukan mudah untuk bersaing dgn korea kerana pengalaman mereka dari segi teknik dan tektikal dan mereka juga ada lah diantara 5 pasukan terbaik dunia. Walaubagaimana pun pemain2 projek telah memberikan yang terbaik untuk bersaing. Harapan kita mereka akan belajar dari perlawanan2 ini..dan menjadi pemain dan lebih baik di masa akan datang.

Laporan ringkas Perlawanan Persahabatan 4 Penjuru

Semalam berlangsung perlawanan antara Skuad Hoki Projek 2013 dengan Kelab Hoki Mannheim dari Jerman di Stadium Hoki Nasional Bukit Jalil. Perlawanan berlangsung sebelah malam dengan barisan skuad Hoki 2013 seramai 28 pemain yang turun buat pertama kali pada tahun ini bermain dengan baik dan bersemangat sepanjang perlawanan tersebut. Walaubagaimanapun dengan pengalaman dan kemahiran yang ditunjukkan oleh Kelab Hoki Mannheim telah berjaya mengalahkan Skuad Hoki Projek 2013 dengan 3 - 1. Pada separuhmasa pertama kelab dari Jerman mendahului 2 - 0 dan Skuad Hoki Projek 2013 berjaya menjaringkan gol melalui sudut penalti pada awal separuhmasa kedua. Keseluruhan Skuad Hoki Projek 2013 telah menunjuk permainan yang baik dibawah pengawasan jurulatih Gobinathan dan Mohd Azlan. Ketua Jurulatih Skuad Hoki 2013 iaitu Dharma telah berlepas ke India semalam untuk menyertai kursus hoki di sana. Encik Mirnawan Nawawi pengurus skuad tersebut turut menyaksikan dan memberi semangat pada pasukan pada perlawanan semalam.

PASUKAN HOKI PROJEK 2013 - UPDATE

Skuad Hoki Remaja Lelaki Projek 2013 telah diletakkan dibawah kendalian Cawangan Pelapais sejak tahun 2009 sebagai persediaan menghadapi kejohanan dunia pada tahun 2013 nanti. Pasukan ini telah diberi pendedahan berlatih dan bertandingan di luar negara sebagai persediaan jangka panjang pasukan. Persekutuan Hoki Malaysia (PHM) telah mencadangkan bagi meningkatan kemahiran, prestasi dan pengalaman pemain hoki remaja melalui program pendedahan latihan luar negara dengan menghantar atlet bermain bersama kelab hoki luar negara dalam liga hoki mereka.

Dengan persahabatan antara jurulatih dengan kelab-kelab hoki luar negara, sebuah kelab hoki di Holland telah menawarkan 2 tempat dalam pasukan Kelab Hoki Hatem pada pemain Skuad Hoki Projek 2013 bagi memberi peluang mereka bermain di dalam Liga Hoki Kebangsaan yang akan bermula pada bulan Mac dan berakhir pada bulan Mei. Muhammad Noor Faeez Ibrahim (19 tahun) pemain skuad hoki projek 2013 bermain di posisi pertahanan telah dipilih untuk bermain untuk kelab tersebut. Pada 1 Mac beliau telah berlepas ke Amsterdam dan melaporkan diri di Kelab Hatem pada 3 Mac 2010. Penginapan dan makanan akan sediakan oleh kelab tersebut manakala tiket kapalterbang dan elaun harian untuk tiga bulan ditanggung oleh MSN. Norhizzat Sumatri (19 tahun) yang bermain di posisi penyerang akan bersama-sama Noor Faeez pada 8 Mac setelah mendapat tempat dan persetujuan dari kelab tersebut minggu lepas.

DYMM Tengku Mahkota Pahang telah mengadakan satu pertemuan pada 1 Mac dengan kedua-kedua pemain hoki tesebut dan memberi sokongan penuh dengan program ini demi kebaikan sukan hoki negara. Baginda telah memberi kata-kata nasihat dan semangat pada mereka berdua dan mengambil peluang ini untuk menimba pengalaman sebanyaknya dan tingkatkan kemahiran. Diakhir perjumpaan itu, YMTMP telah menyerahkan sedikit bantuan kepada kedua-dua pemain yang telah terpilih.

Sebelah malamnya pula di KLIA, Muhammad Noor Faeez yang ditemani oleh keluarga dan saudara maranya untuk mengucapkan selamat berlepas dan mendoakan keselamatan dan kejayaan bagi Faeez yang akan berlepas ke Amsterdam dengan penerbangan MAS pada tengahmalam. Ibubapa Faeez sangat gembira kerana beliau telah dipilih dan telah memberi nasihat dan supaya pandai jaga diri bila berada ditempat orang.

Kelayakan Hoki YOG di Myanmar - Update

Malaysia telah berjaya mengenepikan cabaran Korea dalam pusingan separuh akhir apabila membenamkan pasukan tersebut 3-2. Gol pertama Malaysia dijaringkan oleh Mohd fitri Ansari pada separuh masa pertama. Pasukan Korea terus memberi cabaran dengan menjaringkan gol penyamaan pada minit-minit awal separuh masuh kedua.

Pasukan Malaysia yang dikuatkan dengan kehadiran Faizal Shaari menghidupkan cabaran ke peringkat akhir apabila menjaringkan gol kedua melalui Mohd Sabri Muhammad melalui pukulan sudut pendek. Disaat-saat akhir permainan pasukan Korea berjaya mendapat pukulan penalti sudut pendek untuk menyamakan jaringan 2-2 dan memaksa permainan di lanjutkan ke masa tambahan. Pasukan Malaysia memperolehi kesempatan untuk menamatkan persaingan pasukan Korea dan gol ketiga Malaysia (Golden Goal) yang dijaringkan oleh Mohd Sabri Muhammad telah menempatkan Malaysia menentang Pakistan pada hari ahad ini di peringkat akhir. Tahniah dan selamat maju jaya !!

Salam dari Yangon Myanmar

Pasukan malayasia telah selamat sampai di yangon Myanmar pada 9hb November 2009 dan penempatan di Traders Hotel sangat memuaskan. Semasa di lapangan Terbang Yangon pasukan Malaysia telah disambut oleh En Shan dari Kedutaan Malaysia di Myanmar dan proses di lapanagan terbang lebih mudah dan cepat.

Latihan suian dan perlawanan persahabatan dengan pasukan Myanmar. perlawanan hanya dapat dimainkan selama 30 minit kerana pada jam 5.30 petang sudah gelap memandangkan waktu Maghrib di sini ialah pada pukul 5.45 ptg...

Laporan hari kedua (10 November 2009)

Mengadakan latihan disebelah pagi dan perlawanan persahabatan dengan Myanmar untuk peyesuaian padang. Pada sebelah petang Dato' Madzlan Duta Besar Malaysia di Myanmar telah menjemput pegawai pasukan ke Kedutaan Malaysia untuk sesi minum petang dan berkenalan dengan Duta Malaysia. Taklimat berkenaan dengan pasukan telah diberikan dan Dato' Madzlan dalam ucapan balas beliau akan memberikan sepenuh kerjasama kepada pasukan Malaysia sepanjang berada di Myanmar ini. Beliau juga akan datang menyaksikan perlawanan pembukaan pasukan Malaysia menentang Sri Lanka pada petang ini pukul 2 waktu di Myanmar dan pukul 3.45 wakyu Malaysia. Beliau juga telah mengarahkan En Shan untuk memaklumkan kepada rakyat Malaysia yang ada di Myanmar untuk sama-sama menyokong pasukan Malaysia setiap kali turun ke bermain

DINNER RECEPTION FOR NATIONAL HOCKEY TEAM

Last night by invitation we attended dinner for National Hockey Team organized by Cawangan Elit for the national Hockey Team. DYTM was the VVIP for the dinner. The dinner setup is simple yet very meaningful. The hockey player are in the winning mood and they are happy when DYTM give them full support. DYTM also remind them to fight for their family honor and win the title for Malaysia.

Project 2013 : SEA CUP Updates

Malaysian Young Tiger show their true color in SEA Cup Bangkok yesterday by trashing Thailand A 6-0. This young team is preparing quest to qualify to Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore in 2010. The qualifying round will be held in Mynmar in November this year this team must become champion to qualify.

8AM: perlawanan diantara 2013 vs Senior Royal Army. Pasukan projek 2013 tewas 5 gol berbalas 2.Pemain Shazrul imran mengalami kecederaan pada perlawanan tersebut.Rawatan awal sudah dberikan dan sekarang sudah kembali bermain.

5pm: pada petang pula diadakan perlawanan diantara 2013 VS National Police Bangalore.Pada perlawanan tersebut pasukan projek 2013 menang iaitu 4 gol berbalas 1.

8am: diadakan perlawanan diantra projek 2013 menetang pasukan Army sports school. Pasukan projek telah memenangi perlawanan tersebut iaitu 5 gol berbalas 1.

Laporan dari Bangalore India...

Pembetulan kepada laporan semalam bukan taem Army bwh 18 tahun tapi dia org hantar team All Army India team yang sangat kuat di bawa khas dari seluruh kem askar dari India dibarisi oleh ramai bekas pemain India... rata-rata pemain berumur 25 tahun keatas... Keputusan perlawanan Projek 2013 menang 2-1 keatas team All India Army... Tahniah kepada para pemain dan jurulatih yang telah menghiburkan penonton di Stadium Sport Authority Of India. Ptg semalam paling ramai penonton hadir untuk menyaksikan perlawanan persahabatan... Rata2 di Bangalore ni pemain kita mendapat pujian dan sudah di kenali oleh penduduk tempatan kerana mempamerkan permainan yang baik sepanjang 3 siri perlawanan persahabatan... Terdapat juga pasukan yang tidak disenaraikan dalam test match ini nak lawan dengan team Projek selepas kita menang dengan team All India Army yg bagi mereka team ni sangat kuat kerana dibarisi oleh bekas2 pemain kebangsaan India..

Perlawanan persabatan pada ptg ini akan diteruskan dengan menentang pasukan Centre of Execellence hockey team... keseluruhan pemain nampak agak keletihan setelah 3 perlawanan persabatan dan tiada kecederaan serius pada setiap atlet... untuk perlawanan petang ini jurulatih akan menggunakan strategi yang berbeza untuk tidak meletihkan pemain untuk bermain pada ptg ini...

The project 2013 continue their winning streak by beating India Army Sports Academy 3-1. With 2 win on a row, the team confident is soaring and we hope they take this advantage to foster the team spirit among them for YOG qualifying in November.

Laporan hari ketiga di Bangalore India. Perlawanan ke dua semalam Pasukan Projek 2013 menang ke atas pasukan Divisyen 2 India Army Sports Academy dengan jaringan 3 - 1. Ptg ni pasukan Projek lawan dengan team Army under 18 juara Liga Remaja India. Few photo sent by our advange correspondent.

salam dari Bangalore India...

Laporan hari kedua..

Semalam Pasukan Projek 2013... telah memulakan kempen siri perlawanan persahabatan dengan pasukan Sport Authority of India dengan kemenangan 4-1... Pasukan ini merupakan pasukan yang terdiri daripada penuntut Diploma kejurulatihan hoki dan pemain adalah bekas pemain pasukan India dan remaja India di bawah umur 28 tahun... Keseluruhan permainan dikuasai oleh pasukan Projek 2013... Pada sebelah malam selepas berbuka solat tarawih diadakan dan di imankan oleh Al Fadil Ustaz Nur Azlan Bakar... Selepas tarawih masuk gym buat light training...

Pada pagi ini pasukan Projek telah menjalani latihan pada jam 6.30 pagi sehingga 10.30 pagi waktu India waktu malaysia 8.30 pagi - 11.00 pagi.. Pada sebelah petang pasukan projek akan bermain dengan pasukan ARMY Boys Sport Company yang merupakan pasukan dalam Liga Hoki India di devisyen 2...
