AYG UPDATES: MALAYSIAN PARTICIPATION
Yes finally the top management make a final decision not to sent the rest of contingent to participation at AYG Singapore. This is due to the directive from Education Ministry not allowing student to participate in overseas tournament because of H1N1 (swine flu). All athletes and official will be inform accordingly.
For the record we still participate in AYG but in a small number. Only sailing team is there now after football team lost in the first round and came back on Friday.

AYG UPDATES: Press Conference
We tried all channel to get information in black and white regarding decision made by Education Ministry on postponing athlete from school to participate in overseas tournament. Based on the statement in the newspaper today across the board there no mentioning about AYG participation.
We hope that top management in both ministry can make decision soon enough because the first group will travel to Singapore on Sunday. We will abide any decision made by the government on this.

AYG UPDATES: Briefing Session
Most of the athlete and official plus some parent attended this afternoon briefing session. Few so pointer given to the athlete by the secretariat. My Chua as usual putting a lot of effort to give detail to all participant in order enlighten them with the real situation in Singapore during AYG. We also manage to get Dr. Anuar Suun to brief all athletes and official regarding H1N1 do's and don't. With Dr. Anuar one's never have to sleep.
Sailing Team already in Singapore for early training session and we hope they can settle down fast to overcome any difficulties ahead of the games. Sadly to say our football team already finished their games and on the way to Kuala Lumpur.
