Four Golds, Two Silvers and One Bronze all from Badminton in 4th Commonwealth Youth Games
 
Malaysia won 7 medals on the last day of competition at the 4th Commonwealth Youth Games  in Isle of Man. The 7 medals consist of 4 golds, 2 silvers and 1 bronze. All these medals were won by the badminton team.
 
a)      Gold  (4 medals)
1.       Teo Ee Yi & Chow Mei Kuan beat S.N. Kidambi & M. Kukkapalli (India) in Mixed Doubles Finals – 18-21, 21-16, 21-8
2.       Zulfadli Zulkiffli beat  Sameer Verma (India) in Boys Singles Final, 21-16, 17-21, 21-15
3.       Chow Mei Kuan & Lee Meng Yean (Malaysia) beat  Sonia Cheah & Yang Li Lian (Malaysia) in Girls Doubles Final 21-7, 21-8
4.       Nelson Heg & Teo Ee Yi beat  Ryan McCarthy & Tom Wolfenden (England) in Boys Doubles Final 24-22, 22-16
 
b)      Sivers (2 medals)
 
1.       Sonia Cheah & Yang Li Lian lost to Chow Mei Kuan & Lee Meng Yean in Girls Doubles Final 7-21, 8-21
2.       Sonia Cheah vs Pusaria lost to  Sindhu (India ) in Girls Singles Finals , 20-22, 8-21
 
c)       Bronze (1 medal)
Nelson Heg & Lee Meng Yean beat  R. McCarthy & E. Westwood (England) Mixed Doubles 3th & 4th placing , 21-14, 21-10
