Perlis Open serve as one of the qualifying competition for SEA Games 2009 bound athletes. With MAAU calender keep changing from one date to another for sure coaches and athletes will not have the luxury to plan their training program toward this competition hence the result here in Perlis Open as predicted not encouraging.
Pelapis are represented by 000 athletes and since only handfull of them get chances to qualify the competition serve as training purpose only.
