3rd Circuit of the Sportexcel Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition

The Malaysian Gymnastic Federation Rhythmic Gymnastic Committee is indeed very active and working very hard to upgrade the standard of Rhythmic gymnastics in the country. Immediately after the 21st National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship held on the 24 November 2009, the 3rd Circuit of the Sportexcel Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition begins today (25 November 2009). A total of 50 gimnas representing 9 states confirmed participation in this competition. Out of 50 gimnas, 43 gimnas are trained under the Pelapis Negeri Program.

After going through the list of gimnas and my observation, the gimnas from the Elite program will again dominates the competition but the 'Star' of the 21st National Championship i.e Lee Wan Nin will not be participating (pulled out) after complaining of pain in the knee sustained during the National Championship yesterday. Her coach decided to withdraw her from the competition. With the withdrawal of Lee Wan Nin, her compatriot Amy Kwan Dict Weng will bound to dominates the competition but she will definately be given a run for the GOLD from gimnas especially from Sarawak, W.P Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. The final of the competition will be at 5.00 pm today itself.
